The Adventure of Marriage September 26, 2024 7:00 PM | Vineyard
The title of the talk for this event is Powerful Tools for the Adventure of Marriage. Enjoy appetizers and socializing before the talk. Karen and Tim Hogan will share some tools to help young couples take on marriage as a joy-filled adventure. They will teach them some secrets to staying connected, particularly when in conflict, and they will help them to create a healthy and life-giving spirituality of marriage. Couples should expect to laugh, learn, and leave feeling encouraged and renewed.
Dr. Tim Hogan is a psychologist and Certified Relationship Therapist who recently published The Gift of Cultural Hurricanes: Tools to Rebuild Authentic Spirituality. He teaches at Sacred Heart Major Seminary and has a private practice in Plymouth, Michigan.
Karen Hogan is the Director of Faith Formation at Resurrection Parish in Canton, Michigan. She has a passion for facilitating small groups, mentoring, Vacation Bible School, and working for social justice. She holds an M.A. in Christian Spirituality and Spiritual Direction from Loyola University and enjoys providing individual spiritual direction.
Tim and Karen enjoy offering marriage retreats, and recently co-authored “The Joyful Dance of Sexual Connection” in the book, Sex and the Spiritual Life (from Ave Maria Press). They have been married for 34 years, have three adult children, and live in Plymouth, Michigan. Please register using the QR code or by calling the parish.
