Lenten Lunch Project
Mission accomplished, twenty-five pans of lasagna and all the trimmings delivered and served to St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen guests! Chili is next… Once again main entrees should be cooked, cooled and ready to go in the freezer at St. Clare. If you cook early in the week you may freeze your dish and bring it frozen.
The food drop-off time is 4:45-6:00 PM on Sunday in the Social Hall Kitchen area. Those attending our 5:00 PM Mass can drop off items before Mass. Please wrap all food securely. Once again, the Main Entrée should come cooked but cooled and ready for the freezer.
If you prefer to sign-up to donate food via the phone, please call Mike McDevitt at 313-647-5025. The dates below are the Sundays we collect food. The food is delivered on Monday of that week and prepped and served on Tuesday. We also have a sign-up sheet for much needed paper products.
