Join St. Clare of Montefalco Parish and Fr. Andrew Kowalczyk, CSMA, on a pilgrimage to Poland and Prague to celebrate the Centennial year of Saint John Paul II! Over the course of this tour, you will walk in the footsteps of Karol Wojtyła, the man who became one of the greatest Saints of our time. Visit his childhood home and the Church of his baptism in Wadowice, the mountainous region of Zakopane where he would go to pray, and Krakow, where he spent much of his adult life and became a Priest, Bishop, Cardinal, and where he visited as Pope. Spend time in Auschwitz, where Saint Maximillian Kolbe gave his life for a stranger, the Shrine of Divine Mercy where Saint Faustina brought the message of Jesus' Divine Mercy to the world, and Czestochowa, the pilgrimage site where those from all over the globe come to venerate the icon of the Black Madonna. Discover the beloved homeland of Father Andrew and these great Saints while immersing yourself in the deep faith of the Polish culture during this 10 day tour of Poland and Prague from September 9-18th, 2020. The price of this tour is $2,499 plus the cost of airfare, which will become available in October. The informational meeting will be held on October 29th at 7:30 pm in the Parish Hall.
