April 21, 2013 - First Communion celebration
Congratulations to the group of 20 children who last week received the Eucharist for the first time. We pray that this will be the first of many times that you receive Jesus in the Eucharist as you continue on your faith journey. We do appreciate the way families are celebrating this special occasion in the lives of their children. It truly was a great festivity of faith and family gathering. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sr. Peter and Mrs. White, our catechists, and parents who helped during this program. As we watched these little ones and their excitement let us also recall our own First Communion. May this celebration be for us one of those Resurrection Stories. May God bless you and continually guide you—parents and children as you journey through life.
