The Knights of Columbus Council 12479 will be conducting our annual REVERSE RAFFLE on Saturday, September 11. The revenue raised from this fundraiser allows us to continue the Knights' activities for our St. Clare Church, School and Parish Community as well as our organization's financial obligations for 2021-2022.
Today we light the second candle on our Advent wreath. Some refer to this as the Bethlehem candle which represents the birthplace of Christ (the first coming) and the hope of Christ coming again. During Mass, right after the prayer of Our Father we pray: Deliver us Lord…. as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Savior Jesus Christ.
Simple Suppers are a regular event during Lent at St. Clare. Our first one is on Ash Wednesday, February 14, and then the next five Mondays during Lent. We encourage Religious Education families to make it a part of their Monday routine. Our first hosts will be the PTO Board and the Knights of Columbus, thank you to all the councils and commissions for making the soup and hosting the evening.

We will begin at St. Clare in the parking lot between the school and the gym and ride (weather permitting) approximately 6 miles at an easy pace.
