Participate in Orange Weekend: We are all aware of the danger associated with gun violence. It touches us deeply to see and hear about the young life lost to the senseless killing. What was once a random act of violence has now become part of the social fabric of our society. It no longer happens somewhere else it is happening in all of our back yards. The first weekend of June is Wear Orange Awareness Weekend whose mission is to honor victims, support survivors, and educate the community. Orange ribbons are available on the tables at the entrances for anyone to take and wear next week. On June 1st at 6:30 pm the Ewald Library will host a panel discussion on gun violence. All are welcome.

We Celebrate Memorial Day this weekend by remembering to pray for those who gave the ultimate gift of life in service to our country. The weekend is also the unofficial beginning of the summer season with parades, ceremonies, special sales, and the opening of summer cottages and all the activities the warm weather encourages. We are blessed to live in a country where freedom is second nature, while so many in the world do not. Please join us as we give thanks and honor this national holiday with a special Mass on Monday at 9 am. All are welcome.
