I would like to thank the 94 parish families who have donated to the 2021 Catholic Services Appeal. Because of the pandemic last year CSA was delayed several months. CSA 2021 has come right on the heels of last year’s Appeal. We are 2 months into it and quite off target from previous years at this point. If we all do our part to contribute to the CSA we could make the goal without a burden to anyone.

As we celebrate Independence Day with Mass this weekend, fireworks, BBQs, and summer outings we also reflect on our countries’ 245 years of history, the significance of the creation of a new nation based on a universal idea. This weekend let’s offer prayers for justice and peace, that we all strive to be the witness to Christ in our city, country and beyond. Happy Fourth of July.
