Simple Suppers are a regular event during Lent at St. Clare. Our first one is on Ash Wednesday, February 14, and then the next five Mondays during Lent. We encourage Religious Education families to make it a part of their Monday routine. Our first hosts will be the PTO Board and the Knights of Columbus, thank you to all the councils and commissions for making the soup and hosting the evening.
There will be a parent/child meeting for those preparing for the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Communion on February 25. Children are encouraged to invite his/her Godparents to the 9:00 Mass. There will be a rite of enrollment for the Sacraments at this Mass. Following the Mass, there will be a meeting. We need a baptismal certificate for each child who will receive the Sacrament. Also on the 25th there is a Sunday Social for grades 2, 3 and 4. All families are encouraged to bring a breakfast treat to share.
