We will resume our Friday morning faith study group with the series “Epic: A Journey Through Church History.” This 20-part series from Ascension Press will be broken into 3 shorter studies. We begin on Friday, September 16 after the 8 am Mass, and the first part of the study, which will run through October 28, will cover the time period from 33 AD through 999 AD.

There are so many things going on at St. Clare these days that we can’t squeeze another evening activity in, so we are going on-line for the new St. Clare Book Study Group. We will begin in September by reading Render unto Caesar: Serving the nation by Living out Catholic Beliefs in Political Life. Regardless of how you feel about the upcoming election, we are living in a very unusual time, and this study will give us an opportunity to center politics in our faith.

After a delightful July ride featuring 50+ riders, Fr. Andrew will re-assemble his crew of bike riders on Thursday August 18th for another leisurely ride through Grosse Pointe Park. A representative of Bikes, Blades and Boards (3Bs) will be available prior to the ride at 5:30pm to inspect your bike and check your tires to see if they are inflated properly if you are interested in this. 5K and Pray – Project Hope: Join us for the 3rd annual 5K and Pray held at St. Clare of Montefalco Parish on Saturday August 13th. It is a wonderful way to support all families who have or are battling cancer. There are many ways to participate. Walk/run; Adoration in the church; Mass at 4:00 PM and dinner in the Social Hall.
