To each and every one of you who came to Kroger or to St. Clare to help us out with the Gleaners-Kroger “Bringing Hope to the Table” food drive – THANK YOU! To those who prayed for our recipients, donors, and volunteers – THANK YOU! To all those who helped us recruit volunteers through the school and various ministries of the parish – THANK YOU!

Every minute, every hour YOU gave came back to the pantry a hundred fold – TOGETHER, 53 volunteers contributed 182 hours, collecting 33 carts of groceries, transporting them back to St. Clare, sorting-counting-packing for storage; an unprecedented 3,440 items of food (last year we collected 1,963)!

A special thank you to Barb Rigg, Linda Schaible, and Kelly Kramer – who helped me coordinate the process and worked long days. If you see one of the volunteers, please THANK THEM and ask them about their experience with each other and customers who shared best wishes, stories and gratitude with us.
