We are all aware of the danger associated with gun violence. It touches us deeply to see and hear about the young life lost to the senseless killing. What was once a random act of violence has now become part of the social fabric of our society. It no longer happens somewhere else it is happening in all of our back yards. The first weekend of June is Wear Orange Awareness Weekend whose mission is to honor victims, support survivors, and educate the community. Orange ribbons are available on the tables at the entrances for anyone to take and wear next week. On June 1st at 6:30 pm the Ewald Library will host a panel discussion on gun violence. All are welcome.
