How do we show our love for one another? The Christian Service Commission invites you to join us by showing small acts of kindness to those around us. Our first project will show our love and kindness to health care workers.
Friends and Families of St. Clare please join the Christian Service Ministry in thanking our local health care workers.
Please join us in sending our thanks and support to health care workers at our local hospitals for all they are doing to battle COVID-19 and give comfort to the sick. We encourage you to write a personal thank you note. Be creative, make one if you like. We are collecting cards of thanks, support, and encouragement as well as gift cards to show our appreciation and continued support for their efforts. Gift cards from various businesses such as Starbucks, Kroger, Amazon, gas cards, or local restaurants in the amount of $5-10.00 will be collected and given to health care workers at Beaumont Grosse Pointe and Ascension St. John hospitals. Purchased gift cards can be placed in the envelope with the thank you cards and placed in marked boxes in church, the collection baskets, or directed to the Parish Office. You may choose to donate online through our electronic Church Giving and we can purchase gift cards for you. Click the button marked “Small Acts of Kindness” to donate. Extra thank you cards will be available on the table by the elevator in church. Please contact me if you have questions or need someone to pick up a card or gift card from you.
