Lesson 9: “There’s Still Something About Mary.” This Chapter is noticeably short. But it asks us to think about Mary as a Mother. How she laughed with Jesus, prayed with Jesus, ran to help him when he fell, ran to him at the foot of the cross... Yes, do not put Mary on a sacred pedestal. She is real, a real woman, a real wife and mother. I urge you to read the quote by Meister Eckhart that ends with...’we are all meant to be mothers of God.’ See page 56.
