The Main parking lot remains closed to all parking. The Carport remains available for drop-off. Please continue to park on Whittier, Verheyden’s, and on area side streets. Please observe all parking signs. Please continue to walk, ride bikes if you are able. Great job St. Clare family on your cooperation during these early weeks of construction. We are making progress! All old asphalt and cement have been removed. The new water main has been installed and connected. The water detention system and storm water piping will begin to be installed this week.
All this construction can be stressful, so let’s have some more fun! Do we have any poet’s out here? Put on your thinking caps and join us in a limerick write-off. Give it your best shot with expressing yourself in writing about the St. Clare Parking Lot Project. A close member of my family, who shall remain nameless, wrote this silly limerick about the parking lot project. She agreed to share it on condition of anonymity.
Parking Lot Limerick
There once was a Parish St. Clare.
That had a parking lot in disrepair.
Captain Andrew was brave:
“We must fix and repave!”
The faithful flock is saying a prayer!
I think there is room for improvement here! Do you have undiscovered poetic talents? Try your hand at writing a poem and I will publish it in the future if bulletin space allows. Send your poem to
