Life Remodeled will mobilize over 10,000 volunteers across 6 days from August 5-10, 2019!  The project will continue to focus on the 30 blocks near the Durfee Innovation Society in Detroit.  Join fellow St. Clare Parish members and Eastside church and community groups on Wednesday August 7.  Sign-up for a half or full day. St. Clare Parish has targeted Wednesday August 7 to join other Eastside area churches and community groups to volunteer with the Life Remodeled Project.  Please sign-up individually and when asked your affiliation please write in St. Clare Parish.  Feel free to come for half or full day.  If this day does not work for you please consider signing up at another time.  They are doing wonderful things through Life Remodeled, I think you will enjoy taking part in the project. 
 
 They will provide all necessary tools, a volunteer T-shirt, bottled water and lunch. Just come in work clothes and have sunscreen as needed.  They also have indoor jobs if you are not able to be outside.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
 
Do you have electronic waste you don’t know what to do with?  We are excited to be partnering with We Are Here Foundation to sponsor an electronic recycling event.  We plan to hold a recycling event on July 27 and 28.  Hours will be 3-6 PM on Saturday and 8 AM until 1:00 PM on Sunday.  Printers, computers, monitors, scanners, camcorders, office equipment welcome.
