I hope you had a great week of Easter. Once again thank you all for your participation, support, and prayers during the Holy Triduum. I know that our parish is growing in holiness. To ALL of our leaders and ministers who made these celebrations possible, beautiful, and faith filled - thank you. Thank you for your financial contributions during these days to make our parish healthy. It truly was a great feast of our faith. Today is called "Divine Mercy Sunday" and its celebration concludes the octave of Easter. Not only does it serve as the eighth day, but it also includes a gospel that refers to an event on the first octave day of the resurrection that is very much represented in the image of Divine Mercy. Speaking about Mercy Sunday: Jesus told Saint Sr. Faustina that this Feast of Mercy would be a special day when "all the divine floodgates through which graces flow are opened.” (Diary 699). Everyone is invited at 3:00 p.m. to the Mercy Hour at St. Clare for prayer, adoration, chaplet, and reflection. Confessions are at 2 pm.
