Our annual Giving Tree Project that will provide much needed gifts and supplies to area organizations caring for the neediest in our community enters its third weekend.
The Giving Trees with their tags are out in the church for one more weekend. Please pick up a gift tag or two as a reminder to support this annual project. Collection of your gifts will be the weekend of December 09-10 or delivered to the Parish Office anytime.

The primary service organizations that your donations from the Giving Tree Project support are:
- St. Patrick’s Senior Center
- Freedom House and St. Charles Senior Ministry
- Franciscan Ministries
- Pope Francis Center
- St. Aloysius Neighborhood Services
- Catholic Charities of SE Michigan
They are all committed to meeting the needs of the most vulnerable in our community. The items you will find on the Giving Tree gift tags include hand and toe warmers, knit pull over hats, hygiene kits and supplies, gloves for very cold weather, thermal underwear, sweatshirts, underwear, warm blankets, scarves and gift cards. The preferred gifts cards are Kroger, Meijer, Wal-Mart, Gordon’s Food and CVS.
Early shoppers are welcome to take advantage of the deals and begin purchasing gifts for the program. As a reminder, we will not wrap our gifts but place them in a gift bag or regular bag with a Giving Tree Gift Tag. You are invited to make your own tag as needed.
