by The Parish Office
Today marks the beginning of Advent – our time of preparation and reflection leading up to our joyful celebration of Christ’s birth at Christmas. Just as we are preparing our hearts for something greater, so too is St. Clare Parish. As we move forward as a parish into this 90th Anniversary year, we are called to reflect on who we are as a parish, how to better serve our parishioners, and how we as a parish can live out our mission of being a Gospel presence in our community by continuing to bring together and welcome a richly diverse people to pray, to serve, and to learn in the name and presence of Jesus Christ.
Over the last few weeks, we have announced that a parish wide census update is in the works and today will mark the beginning of this effort, but we cannot do it alone. Parishioners of St. Clare, we need your help! We ask that you will please take a moment to pick up a census form located in the back of the church, complete as much of it as possible, and return it to the Parish Office. By helping us keep our census data current and accurate, we can continue to plan for the future and move forward into another 90 years of being BOLD, HOLY, and CATHOLIC.
