The St. Clare Christian Service Commission is collecting gently used or new boots and coats in support of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. As the weather turns cold and winter approaches, the Capuchins would like to offer their guests warm boots and heavy coats. While all donations are welcome, men's sizes are preferred (8-13 and Med. to XXL). The collection will be during the Nov. 1-2 Masses. Early donations may come to the Parish Offices or a marked box in the Portico beginning October 25. Check your closets and share what you won't use this winter with someone who will. The cold weather is coming!

Our very busy SVdP team is hosting a bundle collection during the weekend of October 25-26. Consider doing a thorough inspection of closets and storage areas for clothes and items you would like to donate to this worthy cause. The Pod will be in the parking lot for your donations. Remember your gently used Boots and Coats can go in the marked box in the Austin Portico the same day you drop off your SVDP bundle.
