December 18, 2021Following Gaudete Sunday, we continue with the joyful theme on this last Sunday of Advent. Not only because we light the fourth candle on our advent wreath, but because two beautiful women, who trusted the Lord’s messengers, point us toward the Christmas and Salvation story. That is our story. God’s Spirit is at work in us too. God’s word becomes flesh in us and through us. Mary and Elizabeth are two major figures of the nativity narrative who respond with joy and trust. We can do the same. Be Bold be Holy Be Catholic.
