May 22, 2015
by Bruce Hubbell
Please join us at 11:00 a.m. Mass on May 31st to recognize some special St. Clare parishioners. We will recognize noteworthy St. Clare couples who helped build, maintain, and strengthen St. Clare as a strong Catholic parish. We are recognizing couples since 2015 is the year of Marriage and Families in the church.
Laura and Larry Radgowski; Mary and Dennis Panas; Mary and George Cascos; Mary Lou and Dave Muer; Jean and Lou Fox; and Margie and George Weber are couples that exemplify Service and Dedication and go Above and Beyond as part of their commitment to St. Clare.
These honored parishioners and parents have kept many parish functions moving and served all of us in many different ways. They have assisted in celebrating the Mass; served on commissions, led school functions, volunteered wherever needed and feed us. They exemplify volunteerism and service to the larger community. Their work and charity have helped build and steer the parish over many decades, and as a result, have built a strong St. Clare faith community. While busy volunteering at St. Clare, they managed to build strong Catholic families that are the bedrock of our community.
We hope newer members of St. Clare will take part and get to know these longtime parishioners who are a living history of St. Clare. This modest and devoted group still has many lessons to teach us on how to be active members of the St. Clare community while honoring the Sacrament of marriage and building strong families. To celebrate and show appreciation please join us at 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, May 31st. We are inviting the honored couples; their families and friends; along with the entire parish to join us. Following the Mass we will have a small reception in the Social Hall with appetizers and finger food. All are invited to the Mass at 11:00 a.m. and to the reception immediately following.
Sincerely,
Bruce Hubbell, President
St. Clare Parish Council
