Music Ministry Welcome Back Night

Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PMAs we step into this new season, let's be inspired by the words from Psalm 100:2: “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful song.” Our music ministry is a beacon of joy, dedicated to bringing these words to life as we strive to enhance our liturgical celebrations through the gift of music. I firmly believe that our mission is to infuse the Mass with joy and inspiration.
WELCOME BACK NIGHT:
Join us on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 6:30 PM in the Vineyard for a welcome back to the music ministry night! Enjoy light refreshments, snacks, and a bit of dessert as we discuss the ministry and get to know our fellow members! This is open to anyone interested in the music ministry at St. Clare.
9:00 AM CHOIR:
We invite the parish to consider joining the choir and cantor programs. If you sing, have sung in a choir, or want to try it, please consider joining our 9 AM choir! It is helpful if you have some knowledge of music, but it is not required for the choir. Ron created a fantastic tradition in that group that we hope to continue! We will officially sing as an ensemble on September 22, 2024.
CANTORS:
These are more advanced roles in the music ministry that will lead our congregation in song. They are audition-only, and one must be able to navigate/read simple music. Don't hesitate to contact me if you want to become a cantor. Auditions will be ongoing throughout the year.
INSTRUMENTALISTS:
If you play an instrument, your talents can greatly enrich our liturgical celebrations. We always welcome additional musicians to enhance the liturgy; please get in touch with me if you are interested!
