Lent is time to contribute to St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen
Roll up your sleeves and start cooking. Volunteers are needed to make meals, as well as transport, prepare and serve food, for the St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen in Detroit each Monday during Lent.
Sign up sheets for the Mondays of Lent are on the Whittier side wall of the church. Please take an instruction sheet and reminder when signing up.
All food items, with 8-10 servings, need to be delivered to the Church Social Hall on the preceding Sunday between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Use sturdy, aluminum containers for hot foods. The food schedule is listed below. Thank you for your contributions.
