The St. Clare Parish family and school will continue its annual tradition of participating in the Corporal Act of Mercy to Bury the Dead.  During Lent each year, we provide a funeral service for an individual or individuals who have been left with no family available to claim their remains and no possibility for a burial.
 
Verheyden Funeral Home, whom we partner with for these services, has been instrumental in assisting with facilitating the dignified and respectful disposition of those individuals who are unclaimed after their death.  Information will be provided regarding the identity of the individual(s) in coming weeks.
 
An invitation is extended to all members of our “Family of Parishes” to join us as a community of Faith to honor the deceased with our prayers and provide for them the dignity of a meaningful funeral celebration.  No one should be left behind, and no one should be forgotten.
 
Please make plans to join us in “Unleashing the Gospel” as we give witness to our Faith by offering together this communal Corporal Act of Mercy.  
 
The Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 a.m.
