Eucharist is the reception of the consecrated bread and wine, which are changed through transubstantiation — the change whereby the bread and the wine used in the sacrament of the Eucharist become, not merely as by a sign or a figure, but also in actual reality the Body and Blood of Christ.
First Communion for children at St. Clare takes place the first Sunday in May.
Children are prepared through their religion classes at St. Clare School or through our St. Clare Religious Education Program.
