This process is for children 7 years of age or older who are not baptized or who are baptized in a non-Catholic ecclesial community. Children are prepared for complete initiation at the Easter Vigil into the Catholic Church: Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion.

The program includes a regular Catechism class, along with home study, as well as Reflection on the Word on Sundays after Mass.

Registration for the Children's Catechumenate takes place during the summer with regular catechism registration.
