The Christian Service Commission will be hosting our annual Capuchin Signature Drive the weekend of August 29-30 to support their local Soup Kitchens. Envelopes will be on the church tables beginning August 8 if you would like to turn in a $20 donation and a signature early, otherwise, we hope you will consider making a donation after Masses in late August. Tables will be set up next to the carport, weather permitting.

Your donations to support the Capuchin Soup Kitchen provide the following:

• 2,200 hot meals per day at our two locations
• About 300,000 pounds of food per month to families
• About 50,000 pounds of clothing to clients per month
• About 15 pieces of furniture or appliances given to 3 to 5 families per day
• Showers and a change of clothing for up to 30 homeless and poorly housed persons per day
• A children’s library and art therapy studio serving up to 100 children per month
• A 25,000 square foot urban farm project

Your tax-deductible donation of $20 per signature will support these projects and place your name with others from our parish in the 2015 Sock Benefit book. Please consider making a donation.
