As a patriotic project, the Knights will be collecting supplies needed by the veterans that are admitted to the Veteran’s Administration Hospital in Detroit. The Hospital provides for the medical needs of the Vets but it does not provide other supplies (like combs, toothpaste, shampoo, games, cards, books, etc.) We will assemble the donated supplies that will be distributed to the Vet’s admitted to the Hospital.

Lists of the items needed are at the table in the Austin Portico.
We will be collecting items throughout the month of July. We want to deliver all donated items the first week of August.

We had a collection last October and the staff at the VA Hospital were very happy to receive the cart full of donated items from St Clare.
