Last Sunday the St. Clare SVDP conference participated in Kroger’s Bringing Hope to the Table, a program sponsored by Gleaners Food Bank. And WOW!!!! Our food pantry is really full at the moment!

From noon till six p.m., we had volunteers at the Roseville Kroger distributing shopping lists and encouraging shoppers to purchase an item or two for our food pantry. Other volunteers were stationed near the check out area to collect donations from customers. Then there was another team back at St. Clare moving the groceries from the parking lot and sorting them at the food pantry. We collected 11 grocery carts full of non-perishable foods and personal care items. SVDP was delighted to collaborate with CREW on this very productive and successful activity. Many hands made the work go quickly:
