ST. CLARE KIDS HELPING CAMP OZANAM CAMP KIDS
Thank you to Mrs. Melvin’s 6th grade CCD class who has been helping our St. Vincent de Paul Pantry assemble Personal Care bags for 80 kids who will be attending camp this summer at Camp Ozanam. This class and other grades will continue to help on this project in April and May.
Each child is required to bring his or her own items to camp, and sometimes that is a challenge for families, so for the first time we are assembling these items to distribute at the Camp Sign Up Day in June that will be hosted by St. Clare SVDP.
So far, we have used items we already had in our pantry (received through the Kroger project) but we could use a little more help to finish this project. The camp has very specific guidelines for what the kids can bring. If you can help us out please drop off your items as soon as possible in the regular food collection baskets. Thanks for all of your support – it’s great to be part of such a giving community.
