Happy New Year! As we experience the joy that comes with the start of a new year, I am delighted to share the exciting happenings at our school.
Our students and staff are settling back into their daily routines and we are gearing up for the upcoming STAR testing this week and next, which will help us assess our students' progress.
In addition, we are eagerly preparing for Catholic Schools Week at the end of the month. This is the time we celebrate the unique identity and mission of Catholic education. The week is filled with special activities, community service projects, and opportunities for our students to deepen their faith and commitment to serving others. It is a wonderful occasion for us to come together as a community and reflect on the values that make St. Clare such a special place.
We are busy completing our Accreditation process, a comprehensive and lengthy document that covers all aspects of our school. It is essential for maintaining high standards in all areas. I am incredibly proud and appreciative of the hard work and dedication that the staff and teachers have put into this document so that we not only meet but exceed these standards.
We are excited to celebrate Black History Month in February. Our students are diligently preparing for their class presentations, which honor the rich history and contributions of African Americans. Classes will pair up and present after Mass on Wednesday, Feb. 26th (around 9am). Our students, staff, and parents look forward to these meaningful and creative learning experiences that highlight the diverse tapestry of our nation's history. We invite all parishioners to this St. Clare community event.
I am grateful for the invaluable support of our parents, parishioners, and community members that help make St. Clare such a successful school.
Blessings to all!
