The St. Clare Parish family and School has established an annual tradition of participating in the Corporal Act of Mercy to Bury the Dead.  During Lent each year, we provide a funeral service for an individual who has been left in the morgue, with no family available to claim the body, and no possibility for burial.  More information will be provided regarding the identity of the individual in coming weeks.

In the spirit of “Unleash the Gospel”, please join us as we give witness to our faith as joyful missionary disciples of Jesus:  “For each of us has been asked to consider how the Lord may be calling us to go out, beyond where we may have gone before...reaching out to the poor, the marginalized, in word and in deed, to give clear witness to Jesus, our Lord.”

The Funeral Liturgy will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2019, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and Mass at 10:30 a.m.
