The St. Clare Adult Faith Formation Commission has some exciting news! First off, we’ve selected a new brand name and logo. Adult Faith Formation at St. Clare will now be called CAFÉ (Catholic Adult Formation & Education).
The other news is that we’re planning several big Thursday evening events for 2022 and 2023. Here are the details covering our first two events:
The Gift of Life; Thursday Evening, October 27, 2022 | 6:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.
Live and in person in the St. Clair Social Hall, four special guests will explain how they and their organizations help promote and support the gift of life. Joella Bush of Gianna House will discuss saving the unborn while supporting mothers. Kiersten Gutherman of CNS Health will provide helpful details regarding suicide prevention and mental health services. Angela Greene will discuss respect, compassion, and comfort for the aging. MaryJo Harris will provide details about programs for building strong families. October is Respect Life Month so come and learn about some of the many different ways that our community is involved.
Advent Adoration – Preparing for Christmas; Thursday Evening, December 15, 2022 | 6:30 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.
Live in the St. Clare Church, featured special guest Fr. Patrick Gonyeau will be in God’s house to lead an advent adoration like only he can.
