If you are looking for a way to deepen your understanding of your faith this Lenten season, St. Clare offers small group faith formation activities in addition to the Thursday evening program.
On Mondays, Senior Men meet for a Bible study from 9:30-11 am. They are wrapping up the study of the Acts of the Apostles and are looking for ideas for their next study. Come to the Rose Room (2nd floor of Parish Offices) Monday to give your input and join the group in study and discussion.
Also on Monday morning, the original St. Clare Bible Study meets in the Whittier Room after the morning Mass. Their current study is Psalms.
On Wednesdays, a group that calls itself “Women of a Certain Age” (formerly Catholic 2 Catholic) meets in the Whittier Room. This group is open to “older” women, and is currently studying the Book of Revelation. Next up is the study “Fulfilled”, which looks at Catholic traditions and links them back to the Old Testament.
The Friday morning study is open to everyone, and is wrapping up its study of The Prophets. This will be followed by “No Greater Love: A Biblical Journey through Christ’s Passion.” It meets in the Whittier Room from 9-11 am.
For most studies, workbooks are available to order for a nominal charge and provide you with on-line access to the videos, lecture outlines, and suggestions for further reading.
If you are interested in any of these small group studies, please just come, or for additional information email
