The Christian Service Commission is busy planning its two big winter projects. Simple suppers will start on Ash Wednesday, March 5, and will be hosted by the Altar Society. A different parish group hosts this event each week. Mark your calendars and plan to join us for hot soup and good company during Lent. The hours are 5:30 – 7:00 PM.

Also, St. Leo’s Lunch Project begins the first Monday of Lent, March 10, with our first food drop off on Sunday, March 9, in the church Social Hall outside the kitchen. Look for the sign-up boards to go up in the church in mid-February.

A reminder that we are looking for a few volunteers to help bring residents from St. Joseph’s Manor on Cadieux to 4:00 PM Mass. Call if you might be interested in helping once a month.

Finally, your used palms may be brought to the church and placed in boxes next to the baptismal font.
