November 13, 2013Our faith not only upholds the concept of an afterlife but also invites us to see death and resurrection as everyday occurrences. Do you remember the Gospel Story of last Sunday? What will we be afterlife? What is heaven like? God calls us to have faith in his love, presence and to have “resurrection eyes”. Any loss we experience is a kind of "death". We grieve over unwelcome change in our lives but the good news is that even as we suffer over our losses - God calls us out of our graves, inviting us to join the living once again. God is the God of the living. With “resurrection eyes” we begin to see possibility and promise once more. Be Bold. Be Catholic. Be Holy.
