MANY THANKS to our parishioners who have already responded with a gift or a pledge to the Catholic Services Appeal.
Gifts to the Catholic Services Appeal provide significant support for candidates who are preparing for the priesthood at the college and graduate seminary of the Archdiocese of Detroit. Our own Chris Muer, who is studying for the priesthood at Sacred Heart Major Seminary directly benefits from our CSA support.
Sacred Heart’s student body also includes lay men in the archdiocesan permanent diaconate program, and lay women and men earning graduate and undergraduate degrees and diplomas in religious studies through the Institute for Ministry.
Training and enrichment for Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion (EMHC) is provided by the archdiocese. Your gifts to the CSA make this training possible for those who provide or are interested in providing pastoral care to the sick.
Please return your 2014 pledge card today. Thank you for helping us reach our goal!
