It is always a source of great encouragement when we call a Parish Mission or a parish meeting and people respond generously to the invitation. Such was the case last week when we held our Parish Lenten Mission with St. Michael the Archangel. The Mission was a helping and guiding gem for us in our understating of the world of the angels and the role St. Michael played in the Salvation Story. It also helped us to see how being Bold, Catholic, and Holy is truly a mission of St. Michael. Fr. Peter has written to all of us. Thank you to David Troiano and the choir members, liturgical ministers, Colleen Keelan and her family for working at the “religious store” tables during the mission, to those of the Hospitality Committee who prepared the farewell party and served coffee, and to all who came. Thank you to Sr. Kathy and all of the teachers of our school who journeyed with the children in their preparation for school confessions and the Angel’s Day on Tuesday. On Friday the Statue of St. Michael returned to the Mother House of the Michaelite Fathers in London, ON.
