September 19, 2020Children’s Faith Formation: Classes will begin on October 4. If you have not registered your child or children, please do so today. I would like to order materials by tomorrow, September 21, so we have them here by our start date. Go to https://stclarem.org/religious-education. There is a registration form and a medical release form. Please fill out both.
Classes will be held in person in our social hall after the 9:00 Mass, from 10-11. We will do our best to adhere to all safety regulations: children must wear masks and keep six feet apart. Teachers will be sure to keep the space sanitized. Children will be dismissed by grade levels. Parents will then gather by the pews in front of the tabernacle. Matt Rigotti and Patty Kaufman will lead the adult group. (I originally invited parents to go to the social hall with their child but the AOD directions say, “no adults.”) So, I would like all parents and any other adults to join the group after Mass by the tabernacle. We will do our utmost to keep your children safe.
To parents who choose to work with your child at home, we will distribute the materials to you and give you all the help you need. There is a wealth of information and ideas on the Pflaum Weeklies website to help catechists, parents, and anyone who is interested. Catechists will reach out to your family sometime during the week.

RCIA: Anyone interested in joining the Catholic Faith or relearning about our faith? Contact Sr. Kathy. Do not forget, you are the most important people in the evangelization department. Invite; bring him/her to church, ask if they are interested in learning about the church.
ADULT FAITH FORMATION: This year we are striving to establish small faith formation sharing groups. The committee will set up a program for the next couple of months, with suggestions of questions and a meeting time to get together for praise and worship, a witness talk and general sharing. But you are also free to choose your own program and decide when and how you would like to meet-in a home or via ZOOM or another method. Keep checking the bulletin and website for details.
