Our country, state and city continue to be affected by the Covid-19 virus, particularly the Delta variant which is more highly contagious. At this point we know that our children and the un-vaccinated are the most vulnerable and waning antibodies in our older and compromised populations have led to recommending a booster vaccine shot.  We are fast approaching the cold and flu season as well. Following the recommendation of the CDC, Wayne County, and AOD we are asking parishioners to wear face masks in the church. We realize this is often an issue of contention, and we appreciate your willingness to work with us to keep everyone safe. For those who participate in a ministry on the altar, masks will be required. If this impacts your ability to serve, please contact the ministry head and ask to be relieved of your responsibilities at this time. This change will take effect this weekend, October 16/17, 2021.
