Please join us at 11:00 a.m. Mass on June 8 to recognize some special St. Clare parishioners. We will recognize noteworthy St. Clare volunteers who helped build, maintain, and strengthen St. Clare as a strong Catholic parish.
Marie Ciarmaitaro, Dave Knox, Joan and Bob Louwers, Pat McKeever, Thomas Ricard, Delores Serra, Ursula Stieber, and Deacon Larry Ruehlen are St. Clare parishioners who have volunteered in a wide variety of functions at the parish over the past 50 years. They are the squeaky wheel that has kept many parish functions moving — from celebrating the Mass, to serving on commissions, and leading school functions. Often working with little recognition outside of the eyes of God, they have always been there to tirelessly support St. Clare. Their work and charity have helped build and steer the parish over many decades, and as a result, have built a stronger St. Clare faith community. While they were busy volunteering at St. Clare, they also found time to build strong Catholic families that are the bedrock of our community.
We hope the newer members of St. Clare will take part and get to know these longtime parishioners who can help us all understand the history of St. Clare. This modest and devoted group still has many lessons to teach us on how to be an active member of the St. Clare community. As volunteers, they are Disciples of Christ working quietly, yet tirelessly, to perform untold functions over the years. At the same time, they have gained friends, strengthened relationships with fellow parishioners, and built stronger families.
To celebrate and show appreciation for their numerous contributions, please join us at 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, June 8th. We are inviting these special parishioners, their families and friends, along with the entire parish to join us in recognizing them. We will honor Marie, Dave, Joan, Bob, Pat, Tom, Delores, Ursula, and Deacon Larry during the regular 11:00 a.m. Mass. Following the Mass we will have a reception in the Social Hall with appetizers and finger food. All are invited to the Mass at 11:00 a.m. and to the Reception immediately following.
Sincerely,
Bruce Hubbell, President
St. Clare Parish Council
