As Catholics, we believe that death will separate us from the people we love for only a while. We are still united with them in the Communion of Saints. On the feast of All Souls, and throughout the entire month of November, we take time to recall our deceased relatives, friends, and all the faithful departed who may still be waiting for the happiness of heaven in purgatory. We pray for them, remembering that being purified, these people have the power to intercede for us too.
Next Saturday, November 2nd, at 4 p.m., as we celebrate our annual All Souls Memorial Mass, we are inviting all families/friends of those whom we buried at St. Clare since last October, and we also welcome families and friends of those who lost loved ones during that time frame that were buried elsewhere. We welcome everyone to attend this Mass, as an Act of Mercy and a sign of our love and support of the families and remembrance of the deceased.
There will be a special reception following the Mass in The Vineyard. All are welcome!
