Reconciliation is the confession of sins in order to receive God’s forgiveness. The penitent (the one who confesses the sins), who honestly and truthfully wishes to be forgiven, tells them to the confessor (the priest), who, forgives the sin, and usually gives a small penance to help provide strength against further sin.
Children are prepared through their religion classes at St. Clare School or through our St. Clare Religious Education Program. First Reconciliation at St. Clare will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 10:30 a.m.
Regular Parish Reconciliation is held on Saturdays from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. or by personal appointment. Communal Penance Services with individual confessions are scheduled during Lent and Advent and on special occasions.
